My first Taiga Drama

The first taiga drama i've watched was Shinsengumi, and just a few days ago. Actually i've been watched Yoshitsune, but stuck at episode 3 till now :P
It was Qnuy and Doko who were recommended this taiga dorama to me....thank's to them coz the dorama really have great story.
With 49 episodes i've never felt bored even once. There was a few episodes that made me cry until my eyes became swollen, especially the episode about Yamanami Keisuke committed seppuku. After watched the drama i really want to know Japan's histories more, though i couldn't remember the name and time distinctly :P
Btw, i just find that the drama have a special drama and most likely the story about Hijikata Toshizou's part, maybe before he met Kondo Isami, or maybe around the time of the death of Kondo Isami until the death of Hijikata Toshizou himself.
